Sinosteel Jilin Ferroalloy Corporation Limited grew out of Jilin Ferroalloy Plant which was one of the 156 import projects during the “First Five” and founded in 1953. In December 1998, basing on the fine assets of Jilin Ferroalloy Plant, Jilin Ferroalloy Corporation Limited founded after being approved by Jilin Province. In April 2007, Jilin Ferroalloy Corporation Limited was reorganized by Sinosteel Group and Jilin Provincial Commission of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration, the total capital stocks increased from 216.4146 million shares to 414.1181 million shares.At January 2008, the total capital stocks of Sinosteel Jilin Ferroalloy Co., Ltd. were increased from 414.1181 million shares to 514.1181 million shares, after the directional 100 million shares being added by Sinosteel Group.
